Mehmet Pusur

Born in Rize, Turkey in the 1960’s Mehmet Pusur’s distinctive watercolours of Istanbul’s skyline have shown themselves to be extremely popular both for captivating the imagery of Istanbul’s distinctive architecture and his use of vibrant colour depicting Istanbuls’s different moods and seasons.

His Uncle, a well known artist in Turkey, was responsible for encouraging his passion for art and his move to Istanbul to work alongside other artists developed his style.

In recent years his work has generated a lot of interest both in Turkey and overseas.
