Our selection of Turkish artefacts is diverse. We have tried to represent the many different aspects of Turkish life, culture and art and trust that there is something to suit everyone.
Our collection includes hand painted ceramics and tiles stylised with historical Turkish motifs such as tulips and carnations. Painstakingly painted in a small studio in Istanbul each one is individual. We have single tiles which can be used as teapot stands or incorporated into the tile design of a new kitchen or bathroom, framed tiles for unusual wall art and beautifully crafted jewellery pieces.
Our handcrafted furniture was collected from villages round Turkey. Relatively simple in design each piece reflects the artistic skill of a home needing an item which was practical and yet beautiful for their home. Handmade woven cushions and rugs complete the feel.
We’re proud to display locally made artefacts from the practical to wall hangings to ward off evil spirits, and decorative items such as small hand engraved brass cups which look delightful when adorned with a tiny bunch of flowers.
The following is a representative compilation. By their nature our artefacts are constantly changing. Please contact us or visit our shop to view the current collection.
